CST Club is not just a club — it is an important asset of the Computer Science and Technology Department of Dhaka Polytechnic Institute. Through this club, students gain practical skills along with leadership qualities, mutual cooperation, and the ability to apply academic theories in real life. It is a platform where even those who say 'I can’t' begin to believe, 'I can make something happen.'

Membership Types
This club is primarily created for general members — those who feel left behind, who are struggling to develop skills, or beginners who don’t know where to start. This club acts as a guiding shadow for them.
Even those who are academically strong but lack practical experience can learn hands-on implementation of theory through this club.
If members simply believe 'I can make something happen,' that belief is enough — the club will show the rest.
Advisory members are experienced individuals — teachers, industry professionals, or technology-related organizations — who play an important role in providing guidance, advice, and constructive decisions. They act as a trusted support for the club’s policy, planning, and long-term development.
Eligibility:
• Teachers, guardian members, or former executives who have been associated with the club for a long time and wish to provide advisory support for its welfare.
• Must have responsible behavior and full understanding of club regulations.
• Computer science or technology-related industry professionals interested in contributing to the club’s activities may also serve as advisory members.
• Organizations involved in technology, education, career development, or club-related activities aligned with the club’s vision and mission may also become advisory members.
• For external advisory members (such as industry professionals or organizations outside Dhaka Polytechnic Institute), approval from existing executive and advisory members is required, following the constitutional policies.
• Depending on the club’s needs and the significance of specific activities, advisory members or institutions may be provided with financial support — determined by the club’s budget, policy, and executive committee’s decision.
Executive members are the driving force of the club. They are actively involved in various projects, events, and administrative operations. They are responsible for decision-making, conducting training, guiding new members, and organizing meetings and workshops.
Eligibility:
• Must have experience in a specific skill or possess leadership qualities.
• Discipline and responsible behavior are mandatory.
• Details are available on the constitution page.
Alumni members are those who were once members of the club and have now graduated. They help preserve the club’s experience and knowledge base and can participate in or support various club events when needed.
Eligibility:
• Former students of the Computer Science and Technology Department of Dhaka Polytechnic Institute and former members of CST Club.
• Must be willing to maintain goodwill and connection with the club.
